What is the difference between General Purpose Masking Tape and Washi/Blue UV Tapes?
- General Purpose Masking Tape (White/Orange): Ideal for general paint masking, temporary fixing, labelling, and short-term internal surface protection. It has no UV rating and is designed for quick, indoor applications.
- 14-Day UV Blue Masking Tape: Formulated with a water-resistant backing and enhanced adhesive for clean removal up to 14 days in direct sunlight. Perfect for outdoor painting and glass/frame protection.
- Washi Masking Tape (Blue/Orange Coated): Made with ultra-thin, Japanese flatback paper, offering high water resistance and high heat tolerance (100°C–110°C). It delivers crisp, razor-sharp paint lines without paint bleed.
How long can these tapes be left outside without leaving sticky residue?
- Yellow Aluminium Protection Tape: Up to 30 days outdoor exposure.
- Xtra High Tack Tape: Up to 3 months outdoor exposure.
- Premium Blue, Light Grey & Premium White Tapes: Up to 6 months outdoor exposure.
